If you are new to the overlocker this is the perfect introduction to making a fun garment in your own stretch fabric. Leigh General Store’s classic loose style means you can really go to town with a fun fabric or stick to the classics for a capsule element that coordinates your wardrobe. You will definitely want to make this again and again.
Best of all, you can try on the sample garments before you select your pattern size: no more guesswork and hoping it will fit.
Suitable fabrics include lightweight jerseys and knits, in cotton, bamboo, polyester or viscose. Ponte Roma, French terry and fleece fabrics are also suitable for a more substantial weight top.
