Leigh General Store’s Long Sleeved Tee
LGS have designed a set of beginner patterns which are a versatile fit - compare a similar tee-shirt you love to the pattern to decide which size will suit you best.
A classic wide tee with optional cropped length, round neck, dropped shoulder and long sleeves. Great for stretch fabrics or use the woven fabric option for a relaxed fitting cotton top.
The instructions are designed by our expert teacher of beginners to help you work independently through this simple project.
Techniques included: sewing with jersey, ribbing neckline, twin-needle topstitch.
Suitable for a wide range of fabrics including jersey and stretch knit fabrics such as French terry towelling, polar fleece, sweatshirt or tee-shirt weight.
Alternatively a lightweight woven fabric* such as linen, cotton poplin, chambray, cotton lawn, viscose twill, challis, seersucker, double gauze or artisanal weaves. *Requires and extra 20cm fabric allowance.
