This Workshop is aimed at complete beginners who want to learn the beautiful and relaxing art of knitting. It covers the foundation skills and stitches you need to start your knitting journey. Taught over two weeks, the course will cover the basic knit stitch, casting on and off and weaving in ends. With these skills you will be able to make simple projects such as scarves, coasters and dish cloths.
We will also look at different types of yarn and needle sizes, and will cover the information on yarn bands to give you an understanding of knitting gauge and what type of yarn is best suited to different types of project.
All equipment is provided for the workshop and yarns included in the price.
