- Perfect for beginners – no prior experience necessary.
- The workshop offers the opportunity to unleash your creativity and make a 30cm or 40cm drum lampshade which you can use in your home for either a table/floor lamp or ceiling pendant.
- You’ll learn how to apply the lampshade PVC to get the best out of your fabric, how to attach the rings and create neat rolled edges, and master the technique of 'tucking' to achieve a polished, professional finish.
- You will be fully guided every step of the way with clear instructions and handy tips to create a successful outcome.
- Choose from a range of beautiful fabrics (or bring your own) to personalise your lampshade to suit your own style and taste.
What you’ll need for the workshop.
A 0.5m piece of fabric, minimum of 137cm wide. We recommend using a light to medium weight fabric, either a cotton, poly cotton or a linen/cotton mix, and if you would like a patterned fabric we recommend a printed design. The Lampshade Kit is provided and included in the price of the workshop.
